She is on the New York City Council's Mission to Israel and, among other things, gave a first hand account of a rocket attack on Sderot. She and the rest of the group that spent the last week in Israel were in Sderot on Tuesday when a rocket hit and blew out the windows in a kibbutz clinic about a mile from the city center of Sderot.
